This year we read The Outsiders by SE Hinton. We read reviews about the book and found that some reviews were very positive about the book and some reviews were very negative about the book. Our teacher wanted us to be good at persuasive writing, so we did some Education Perfect assignments on persuasion, then did some paragraph work on persuading people if dogs make better pets than cats.

I chose School uniforms are bad because I have strong opinions about this topic and could write a lot.
1. Not everyone can afford the school uniform
2. Wearing a uniform limits self expression
3. The comfort factor
I do not like cats or dogs
The main reason why is because you have to get up to feed them and they bother you at night when they want to get out of the house and go to the toilet. Cats and dogs, like humans get hungry when they sleep at night, so they want food. If cats and dogs are locked inside during the night, with no way to get out, then there will be cat and dog urine all over the house. Another reason is that food for animals cost.
One time my cat urinated onto my leg, so i threw it outside. Shayden's cat called tom, urinated on his blanket. My dog molly will run back and forward at night and when she needs to go toilet she will come to the back of the house and bark at the cats that wonder the street. This makes me tired and grumpy the next day because i don't get enough sleep. Many people prefer dogs over cats because they are cleaner. Many people think cats are pretty disgusting because they spray their urine everywhere to make their territory. In the world today there would be a lot more money if we didn't have to buy new carpets that the animals urine on and there would be no food to buy or for them to be de-wormedMy reflections on my learning
I feel good about my learning because i used to not do work and just play games but now i have finished my work for once.
A strategy that really helped me learn better was to do as much work as i could then play games after.
If i could do something better next time is to work on time and not be slacking.
One thing i really want to learn now is nothing I think i've done enough learning
I like your honest self-awareness in your learning CoDyB. One thing I learned at my course on 13th August was that blogging about your learning, will help help you with completion. Many students who normally don't finish their work, will start to gain a good sense of satisfaction from blogging about their learning. I mentioned a general student in my blog about Finishing work https://mhsmcenglish.blogspot.com/ and the student's name was Bob. It could just as easily have been CoDyB, or Jane or Fred. Success breeds success, and the more you complete a blog post, the more it will breed a sense of satisfaction for you. Next time, or this time, try to use capital letters for animal names example, Tom, Molly.
